Shahbaz, we talk about a very old propaganda peddled by the right wing called 'Love Jihad' that suggests Muslims will increase their population and capture India. A new law has been passed in Uttar Pradesh which criminalises religious conversion for the purpose of marriage making it more difficult for interfaith couples to marry. Since its arrival many young Muslim men have been arrested and thrown in jail. We travelled to Shahbad in Uttar Pradesh to talk to Pawan Rastogi who is Bajrang Dal's zila co-ordinator in the district of Hardoi. To understand how this law affects interfaith couples we also talked to a couple from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh living in Delhi at a safe house under the protection of Delhi High Court.
